The Culinary Knife Program, in front of the kitchens that need it.

Everything for the Knife Program campaign in one place: the Meta ad set, the landing page the ads send restaurant owners to, the exact Ads Manager copy, and a copy deck with every sentence that needs your yes. Every fact comes from baysharpening.com or your Google listing. Every photo comes from your own shop videos.

Meta ads · Concept A, "On your schedule"

Your belt grinder beside the headline (above it in the square, tall and story sizes, to the right in the wide ad), with the promise from your Culinary page: two sets of knives, exchanged on the rotation the kitchen chooses.

Meta ads · Concept B, "Two sets"

Shows one way the exchange could run: Set A and Set B trading places on a four week rotation, the one most restaurants choose. On hold until you answer question 2. Your website says two sets and a four week rotation, but not exactly how an exchange works, so this concept doesn't run until that's confirmed.

Ads Manager copy and settings

The text that goes around the images in Ads Manager, built from your own website sentences. Every new line is in the copy deck below.

Primary text · A, the program

Sharp knives on your line, on your schedule.

The Culinary Knife Program provides two sets of knives dedicated to your restaurant. You choose the replacement frequency. Most restaurants work on a four week rotation.

For commercial kitchens, restaurants and supermarkets from Manitoulin Island to North Bay. Get a quote for your kitchen.

Primary text · B, the seasons

Exchanges can be modified depending on the season, or suspended when the restaurant is closed or slows down.

Each knife program is designed to meet your needs, and can be adapted to the kitchen, the season and changes in your business.

Sudbury based, over 30 years in the sharpening business. Get a quote for your kitchen.

Primary text · C, safety

Sharper knives are safer knives.

The knives stay sharper longer, increasing productivity and reducing potential injuries, and your kitchen needs to carry fewer knives. We take the time to educate staff on proper care of the knives between regular visits.

Settings to lock at launch

  • No special ad category. A knife service for restaurants is not housing, credit, employment or social issues.
  • Location: Greater Sudbury, Manitoulin Island and North Bay, once you confirm the service area is still current.
  • Audience: start broad within the service area, using whichever restaurant, food service and grocery interests Ads Manager offers at setup. Meta has removed many job and industry options, so we confirm what is selectable before launch.
  • Test: Concept A and the carousel run first. Concept B joins once question 2 is answered, then A against B for two weeks. Any primary text works with any headline.
  • Landing page: the preview link here until launch, then a page on baysharpening.com. The form connects at launch.

Landing page

Where every ad lands. The promise first, then how the program runs, why a knife program, your shop, your Google reviews, the questions owners ask, and the quote form.

How the page is built

  • The look you liked. The same dark shop palette, red buttons and bold type as the new site concept, so the page and the site read as one brand.
  • How it works, in four steps. Designed around your kitchen, you choose the frequency, two sets exchanged, adjust with the season.
  • The rotation, drawn out. A simple chart of Set A and Set B on a four week rotation, marked as an example.
  • Your shop and your reviews. Real footage from your shop, and three Google reviews word for word beside your 4.9 rating.
  • Questions owners ask, answered in your own words: what's included, how often, the off season, cost, chef-owned knives, where you service.
  • The form asks for the business name, type and town, with a consent line and your privacy policy. On a phone, a quote-or-call bar stays at the bottom of the screen.

Questions for you

These decide what the page and the ads can say. Nothing is guessed; where we don't know, the page says less.

  1. How is the Knife Program priced? Per exchange, per set, monthly? The page says "pricing comes as a quote" until you tell us what you'd like shown.
  2. Is the rotation chart right? It shows one set in the kitchen while the other is exchanged, on a four week rotation. Tell us if the exchange works differently.
  3. Is Manitoulin Island to North Bay still your service area? It's on your Culinary page, on the landing page and in the ads, and the ads would target it.
  4. Are lost or stolen knives still charged back at your cost plus 20%? It's on your About page and answers the cost question on the page.
  5. What's in a set? How many knives, and which brand. If they're Wüsthof, the ads can say so.
  6. Is there a minimum term, a contract or a start-up fee? Owners will ask. Nothing is said about it until you tell us.
  7. Can we name any kitchens already on the program? Only with their permission. A named local restaurant would be the strongest proof on the page.
  8. Your Google listing is named "Bay Tool Sharpening". The page shows your 4.9 rating from that listing. Should the listing name match "Bay Sharpening"?
  9. Your new price list. You asked for price changes on Sept 9. Once it's in, the website gets updated. This campaign doesn't use prices.
